Delete your data

BeLike by BeLike (developer name on Google Play: BeLike) keeps your workouts on your phone and nowhere else. This page explains how to delete the small amount of data that does leave the device, what will be deleted, and what is kept.

What BeLike holds about you

There is no account. The app never asks for a name, email or login. Three things can leave your phone:

• Purchase records — if you buy a cosmetic item, Google Play and our billing provider RevenueCat keep a record tied to a random ID the app generated, so purchases can be restored.
• Crash reports — if the app crashes, a report with the error, your device model, OS version and app version is sent to Sentry so we can fix it.
• That random ID — the app-generated identifier RevenueCat uses. It is not your Google account, advertising ID or any personal detail.

Your workouts, sets, body weight, muscle progress, streaks, settings and ratings never leave your device. They are deleted the moment you uninstall the app or clear its storage.

How to request deletion

1. In BeLike, open Settings → Diagnostics and note the purchases ID shown there (it starts with $RCAnonymousID). If you never bought anything, skip this.
2. Email hello@youbelike.com with the subject “Delete my BeLike data” and that ID. Send it from any address — we do not need to know who you are, only which record to delete.
3. We confirm by reply, normally within 7 days and always within 30, once the deletion is done.

To delete everything that lives on the phone, uninstall the app or clear its storage. No request is needed for that — we cannot see it and could not delete it for you.

What is deleted, and what is kept

Purchase records and the random ID (RevenueCat)	Deleted	Nothing on our side. Restoring purchases on a new phone will no longer be possible for that ID.
Purchase records held by Google Play	Not ours to delete	Google keeps its own record of your purchase under Google’s privacy policy; it is tied to your Google account, not to BeLike.
Everything on the phone	—	Only what you keep. Uninstalling removes it entirely.

There is no additional retention period: once we confirm, the data is gone from the providers we control. We keep the email you sent only as long as needed to complete and confirm the request.
